I read that story like he died because he saw the vet and panic got to him and his age and knocked him out dead. Saw that in a comedic way in my head. I imagined it like:

Car is in sight of the vet building. A very familiar place to the dog who had to painfully go to that shit for years. Pure memory of nothing but needles and examinations. He quickly realizes he is to be checked into the vet for the last time of his life before dying and he has to go through another of that bullshit? (Does a dog know he is ever being cured by the vet? I don't think my cat did..?)

yea well i understand what you mean but no the vet was like at 15-20 mins from home and he died like half way having muscular cramps awww man I fucking HATE remembering that shit...
