I had a big golden retriever that i grew up with. My parents got it 2 yrs before i was born. when i was like 11, he died, going on his 13 years old. He died in the car while we were bringing him to the vet to put him asleep. Its by far the worst thing that happened in my whole life, a dog so kind like he was, it was like my best friend...I miss him sooo much and how we handled it...lets just say that it was just like if my brother died...

here are pics of him...he has alot of white hair in the face because of the age.. R.I.P.

daima Reviewed by daima on 08-09-2006. death yesterday my hamster had to be put to sleep because she had cancer. i was very close to her, and she would cuddle with me evrynite. i was wondering if any of you have had close pets die, and how you handled it. Rating: 5
