What should the PH of water be which you water the plants with?

6.5 to 7 when in soil. And I believe in Hydro it can go as low as 5.2-5.5 to 6.3, somethin like that. I'm not sure but it's around in that range.

Cool thanks. My water in the southwest of UK is 6.5-7
And the water is drinkable and clean here and i THINK its soft

Rememebr when adding nutes, the pH generally goes down so have some pH UP or baking soda handy.

Don't forget to let the water sit for 24 hours before using, it helps as well to disapate any clorine that may have been used in the filtering of the water, at least that is how it works in the US.

My water suply in south of UK is exelent and softDon't forget to let the water sit for 24 hours before using, it helps as well to disapate any clorine that may have been used in the filtering of the water, at least that is how it works in the US.

Excuse me Blizma but I am confused.
If your water is clean and soft, why would it register as ACIDIC or be anywhere near 6.5 - 7?
The higher the mineral content of water, the lower the pH will be. If your water is soft, then it should have low mineral content.
As for the 6.5 pH....I can't believe any civilized country has acid water running thru the people's bodies who drink it. Thats a corrosive level.
I think perhaps its time you invested in a pH Pen perhaps?
