ok the reason i ALLWAYS USE A ROACH....


1.stops any bits being sucked down the joint.
2.gives the smoke some "ever so small" cooling time.
3.it hold the joint open so my lips dont push it closed..then i would b able to toke
4.makes a handy place to hold the joint without causing a sideburn trap.
5.im used to it.

I think American's can roll pretty well but I've actually smoked a brit's joint before and they are rolled pretty well. I'll give you that lol

i roach my joints sumtimes other times i dont dosent really matter unless you got sumone in your group who wets the joint and makes the end soggy

When I roll, I always use a roach. I used to not to, until I met this guy from BC who said he had never seen anyone who hasn't used a roach in a joint, so were both amazed. It doesn't make a big difference, but I do it for a few reasons too.

1. The mouth end doesn't get all wet and sloppy
2. The mouth end doesn't close shut, again, due to spit, and if you have a smoker who slobbers all over the damn thing, it's can be unpleasant.
3. It gives me something to hold on to. It's like, built in roach clips.
4. You smoke the entire joint leaving no, stupid little piece of joint. If you;'re like me, you hate collecting dozens of joint ends and tearing them all open for a toke.

Plus, the only time I roll joints is if I'm in a group and with friends, so we might as well smoke the entire thing.

I don't care how other people roll theirs though. I won't refuse a joint when it comes my way.
