so we get our drink and walk out, as we're walking back (on the sidewalk) a black car, driven by an obviously intoxicated person, pulls into the parking lot. she jumps the curb, and 'bumps' my wife, but instead of slamming on the break, she slams on the gas, pinning my wife's leg between the bumper of the car and a brick wall.

long story short my wife's upper leg was broken, right up near the thigh and we just got home last night. she had to have surgery and a rod put into her leg.

to my friends here, please don't drive intoxicated, there is no excuse, you may think you're safe to drive and you're fine, but even that split second could have been the split second to trigger which pedal to slam on sparing my wife from the pain she will now endure for the rest of her life.

I gotta say amen to not drinking and driving. I never drink, and when I do, I never drive, because it doesn't take much to get me shitfaced. I wish your wife a speedy recovery, and just think about how nice of a washing machine you can get now.

I was wondering where have you been

I haven't seen you in ages

I'm sorry to hear about what happened

I wish your wife a speedy recovery and I hope you dry that fucker out of every dime he has

Drunk driving is one of the most fucked up things I know of

People fail to understand that not only can u hurt yourself but you put others in danger

I can accept anything a person does but not if can affect another person/people directly or indirectly in a negative
