    back....

    slip,

Ive pulled the keys away from at least 3 people who were hell bent on driving after drinking way too much.

    Get this.

A girl I used to know killed a man while driving drunk. He had three puppies he was bringing home to his 3 daughters.
Thanks to her dumbass that man died in a car wreck after she collided into him.

Whats worse is that several years later she attempted to get behind the wheel again............drunk.

Ive taken the keys away from at least three people too drunk to drive and it always ends in a major fight.

I wont hestitate to call the cops ahead of time.

I dont drink myself. Last time......5 years ago.

    Have a good one

Well, hopefully the drink-driver is rich and you can squeeze him dry of every single dollar he has. Then you can buy a washing machine

at that point protective instinctis kicked in, if i hadn't had to of hold my wife up til the paramedics came.... well lets just say their injuries would have been far worse... in my head, after i was at the hospital watching her lay there in that pain, the thought played through my head of slamming their heads in the car door til incompacitated and then running THEM over, lets just say they're lucky i had to be there for my wife... DAMN LUCKY, i don't put psycho in my name for no reason, i really am psychotic, and i wouldn't have hesitated, but my wife needed me more then those assholes needed to be taught a lesson.... i hate seeing her this way, it tears me apart, it's probably equivelant of just watching your child slowly die and there's nothing you can do....

Jeez, SlipKnotPsycho, I'm so sorry y'all had to go through that. Please give BabySnookums my love and best wishes for a fast recovery. I hate it that that happened to her. Is she still in the hospital? This sucks, and you two are some of my favorite folks on this board.

Glad you've got a good attorney. He'll go after the truly deep pockets in this situation, which is the drunk's insurance company. They'll, of course, say they're not responsible for covering their insured since he was breaking the law and will drop his policy like a hot potato. And any good attorney will simply keep on keeping on. With continued hassles and threats, they'll eventually settle and cover Snookums' medical, pain and suffering, and plenty more just to shut y'all up and get y'all off their case. Good luck with this!!! Again, many best wishes for a speedy recovery to Snookums.

we're home now, thankfully.. the hospital was a joke, you ask for medication it takes 2 hours, you ask for a nurse and a bed pan it takes 20 to get there, you ask to get off it (instead of staying for something that takes 3 mins max) and it takes them 45 mins. and i know htey weren't busy thorugh all this i picked up smoking again, and i'd often go smoke, and see the nurse in charge sittting there, sometimes just talking instead of doing their job...

i just hate having to sit her watching her in pain.... that's the worst part.

Glad you're both home and sorry the hospital was so lousy and its staff so lazy. I'm afraid a lot of them are like that. Sounds like you've been a good and devoted husband and a good nurse even if the whole adventure has driven you back to cigarettes. I'm going to see if Snookums is online and give my best wishes to her, too.

    Sorry to hear that SlipKnot.

People who drink and drive really piss me off. At least of the courtesy to save someone elses life if not your own. Assuming they'll crash at some point.

I wish her full and fast recovery.
As for that drunk driver, leech every penny she's got.

Drinking in driving is dangerous and stupid, period.

I'm sorry to hear about your wife. I'll pray for the best.
