    Warm white CFLs!

    I just found out that the Cfls iv'e been using are warm white! Which I hear are useless for growing... Arnt they?

    Warm white CFLs!

    you are using ones for flowering. cfls should be cool for vegging only. flower under a hps. it isn't so bad though. i mean it'll keep them alive until you're ready for new stuff. you can clone under it ok for the time being.

    Not "only", you can also mix the warm whites and cool whites to get all-around lighting from the light spectrum. You can use 100% cool whites for vegging and 100% warm whites for flowering but when your vegging I recommend you mix them up.
