i should probably add that she is a little shy and has strict parents. It also doesnt seem like she is flirty like a lot of other girls. Fuck i hate being nervous. What are some things that you tell yourself when you wanna ask someone out? I just try not to think about it, but that can be hard sometimes.

I am goin to homecoming with this girl that i like a lot. She broke up with her boyfriend of 6 months cuz he was goin to college. She still loves him but wants to get over him, and she also likes me. But she doesnt want to have a relationship right now. Now on saturday she wanted to kiss, but i told her i couldnt do it cuz last time we kissed i liked her soooooo much and everything was awesome but she didnt want a relationship. She just wants me to like her but not go out. I think thats gay, and i refuse to kiss her everytime shes feeling lonely, becuz that hurts me a lot. So i dont know what i should do. when i talked to her, she said she liked me a lot and wanted to be with me but if we went out, everyone would hate her and stuff and she couldnt deal with that. So i told her, im fine being your friend, and i would like to go out with you, but i cant do this inbetween crap becuz im just gonna end up getting too attached. So she said was like cryin sayin how much she likes hangin with me, and than the next day, she says she just wants to be friends. GIRLS ARE EVIL!! I was ready to just be friends, and than she said all that stuff which made me like her like crazy again, and now she just wants to be friends. She was probably planning this, she just wants me on this little string. girls are evil

ok. thanks for all the info. it def. helped. i guess the only thing im really afraid of is 'IF' she says no, then it will suck seeing her at work. it will be hard trying to talk to her knowing that she knows i wanted to be more than friends, but she doesnt. i know for sure that if i was put in her position, then i probably would think a little different of her.

btw i have one more question: It is a bad idea to ask her out over the phone isn't it?

You know what, im so high and i just figured out a perfect solution to see if she is interested or not.
Heres how it goes:
The next time we hang out, ill have us come to my house and watch a movie or somethin. Then during the movie, ill do something small like rest my hand on her leg, or put my arm around her and see what she does. If she doesnt want to be anything but friends, then she won't want me to do that and will more than likely say something. Everytime i have tried this with a girl, they usually let me know they like it by making a move torward me, or of course slapping me in the face. lol

dont ask her over the phone, or msn those are the worst possible ways, just go for it you seriously only live once so theres no point in not going for it, if i was working with a girl i liked and i asked her out and she turned me down i would probably just be friends with her cause you never know whos going to grow up to be who so keep your options open. thats y i still talk to the dumb hot girls at school cause maybe after highschool, reality will set in on them and we might to be able to have a decent conversation while they still have there looks
