Moral equivalancy.......
Different motives or targets or not, the thing I struggle with is bloodshed and killing of any kind, civilian or otherwise. Seems to me concern for humanity ought to mean avoidance of bloodshed. Period. The cynics will immediately brand me as dreamy or girly or high-minded. But I still think peace for the sake of peace is worth shooting for (no pun intended).
For an addition to the record, I:
- Love America and am thankful every day that I'm lucky enough to participate in a democracy instead of exist under a theocracy or a dictatorship
- Dislike George Bush and what he and his ilk stand for but have a lot of respect for the office he holds and the responsibility that entails
- Find you highly entertaining and funny, Bong. You're passionate and opinionated and, as I discovered last night, chivalrous, too.\"That best portion of a good man\'s life: his little, nameless, unremembered acts of kindness and love.\"
