we live in a fucked up world
and things are getting worse instead of better
if you sit back and look at all the things going on
things look real bad
i personally want to see the outcome of society's greediness
it aint going to be pretty
watch the news everynight and all you see and hear
is murder,sex,drugs,more violence,death
when you do hear some good news its rare and irrelevant
four people kiiled in iraq by roadside bomb
serail killer gets caught after carjack
fireman saves baby cat from a tree
hit and run driver kills two
would you rather be an innocent victim
or a guilty survivalistfriendowl Reviewed by friendowl on . we live in a fucked up world and things are getting worse instead of better if you sit back and look at all the things going on things look real bad i personally want to see the outcome of society's greediness it aint going to be pretty watch the news everynight and all you see and hear is murder, sex, drugs, more violence, death Rating: 5Love is patient and kind. Just something I need to say. I'm sure you're cool and all friendowl, but honestly, you represent yourself more as the problem, and less as the solution to all the above issues. Just building yourself up or are you serious?

Yeah I know what you mean, I think the exact same way about the outcome. I really wonder how it's gonna be or if this madness is gonna stop or slow down. It really is sad and it almost restricts me from goin to unfamiliar places cuz I dont wanna be a victim of some bull shit.

There is actually a concept in chemistry called Entropy. Entropy is the measure of disorder in the universe (it's a lot more complicated to explain, but the aforementioned is just a basic synopsis.)
Basically, as time increases (or passes) entropy increases. Everything initially starts out new, such as a new car, but after you buy the car and start driving it, it slowly starts to break down and wear apart. This concept can be applied to anything (almost) and it makes sense. In chemistry, the only substance that is not disorderly, is a perfect crystal at absolute zero. Kinda cool =)My post count is no longer a power of two =(

Bad news is what sells. It speaks to our society. We're not interested in the cat being saved from the tree. We'd rather hear about the 11 people shot in a nightclub, the lady who burned her husband with cooking oil, the dude that carjacks a semi. Television stations need ratings, the bad news gets the ratings.
I don't think the world is bad, it's simply what we hear or what we're exposed to. There a bad people that create horrifc situations, but it doesn't speak to all of mankind. I've long felt that life is what you make it. When I did dirt, my life was filled with other dirt. Now I try to do the right things, and I'm stressed, but a majority of the experiences I have now are positive. You get out of it what you put into it. It's not always balanced like that, but for the most part, it works out.
I've always thought the media was biased and more of a tool than a source. Many good things happen, many random acts of kindness...but there's never a news camera around. Maybe if the media did better at covering some of the positive aspects of life, it would restores peoples faith in their fellow man and they would follow.
But I'll die as, simply, Chris. I tried...I made some mistakes along the way, I'm trying to do the right thing now and in the future, and I try to put into life the things I want back out of it. Whatever happens, happens...I'm just going to enjoy the ride as much as possible.
