Figment, that kitty needs you and your girlfriend. And it'll be great for her anxiety, too. Petting and soothing a young animal, especially one as cute as that, is a great calming thing, and your other cat will adjust in just a matter of days (or maybe weeks in the worst case scenario). Congratulations, new kitty dad!

the best pets are the pets that find you, i was driving with my GF and all i can see up ahead was this animal wondering the center of the road as i got closer i was like wow thats a huge rat and as i get next to it i noticed its not a rat but a ferret.

we picked him up and drove right to the vet he just didnt seem right i had a few ferrets before and this one was odd so we get there and the vet checks him out and told us he is completely blind and pretty much starving he was also balding on his tail.

its been almost a year later hes still with us his tail hair grew back fully he just sleeps about 20hrs a day not much for a blind ferret to do the best pet ever.

The Best critters I've ever had are the ones that found me, not me finding them :dance:

I saw from a post some time ago that you used to live in lawrence, and i had some comment relivent to that post but i got stoned and forgot. Anywho, do you ever visit Lawrence these days? and How is it in westren kansas, its a little 'dry' here lately.

The cat is too damn cute. i've been bitching and moaning about how badly i want a kitty for the past 2 months or so.

I live in ElDorado Ks (about 30 miles east of wichita) but have spent many a weekend in lawrence,Cuz my Gf is still dealing with the Legal System and can't smoke I choose not to for the moment, in years past she has done the same for me!!

cats are awesome, i'm pissed that im allergic to their hair if i get too close.

but you never know man, he could be someone's cat that they decided to let outdoors and he ran off or something, or maybe he's simply an outdoor cat

it sounds crappy but you should probably put up a few "lost cat" posters up and put something on it like "Phone this number and describe the cat to get it back" so no fags just say they lost a cat for the sake of getting a cat. if no one calls or describes the cat properly after like a week, then i'd keep it
