salvia is the geneus (sp) of plants and salvia divinorum is a specices and is this only type of salvia that has the effects

I suggest start with the 5x and build up from there. 5x didn't do much for me, but Inferius is right, Erowid is GREAT for resources. I always look it up before I do anything!

Don't bother smoking the plain leaves, they don't do *literally* anything. Ask for the extract.

my friend has only ever done leaves but has had strong experiances.... but id recommend the extract... the first time i did it was 10x.... i want to try 20x but i cant get any

its really hard to use as a tool for exploring because unlike with any other psychedelics ive tried where you have time to grasp whats going on as it builds up, with salvia you're there before you even have time to exhale. it's insane. and as soon as youre there you dont anything from your previous life. at least i didnt it took me a while before i even knew who or what i was. it slowly came back to me, i started to remember where i was, my name , then i would forget all of it again, then it would come back and repeat until it wore off. you have to be prepared its not like anything you've tried, because it has no chemical relation to any other psychedelics. most psychedelics have something to do with nitrogen, salvia doesnt at all. it's in the mint family where there are no known intoxicating plants except for this. sp prepare yourself before you try it, but dont go into it scared, or you could mess up.

dude u mean salvia, salvia is a type of mint from mexico that gets you high for about 5 minutes but its really awsome it comes on extremely fast and in your mind u'll feel like ur on a train. but it kinda sux that lasts for about 5 minutes but then again u get flash backs a few times a week. oh ya about that mint part its a type of mint but it smells more like tea. peace:smokin:
