Raise your voice, print some facts, present it to them and let them know they can't interupt you while you make your speech. Say, "I'm mad as hell, and I'm not going to take it anymore!" Nah, I'm kidding, but really, tell them, "hey! I listened to you, now you listen to me", but be serious about it. Don't be like, "mommy, I'm sorry, don't be mad." You're a big boy, you're 19.

If that fails, time to look for some PT work and move in with a few buddies. Go to school, move in with 3 or 4 friends in a place. The more people, the cheaper the rent. I know a few people who work only 20hrs a week, who live with 5 other people mind you, but get by just fine. You're 19 now and they shouldn't be surprised that their 19yr old is smoking pot. Surely they saw this coming.

Ur 19, how the fuck r they gonna get u drug tested every week, and what 4, they can't do nething about it. Just telll tehm u smoke pot, and whether they like it or not, that's how it is and they're r just gonna hav to accept that. That's what I told my parents.

Just wanted to thank all of you for the advice, support, and responses. For now it seems as though my mom is cooling down and understanding this is a choice of my own that I have made and will continue to do. My dad is much more understanding since he was a huge Dead Head and did his fair share of pot as well as many psychedelics. Unfortunately my parents do pay for my college education so I can't simply leave and let that be the end of it. I'm hoping that my mom will come around and leave me be, since I'm causing no harm and have been doing great in school and such. Once again, thanks to all of you who responded and gave me some support, if I could i'd smoke each and every one of you up reallll good
