Marijuana song/poem!

Didn't know where else to put this...But yeah I was inspired by busted by the police recently and wrote this song/poem... Lemme know what you think Im still working on music for it..


What law can deny that gift so sweet
So natural that God has
Given it to me

Green is the prime color of the world
And what that which brings wisdom and peace
Arises from the earth

These flowers so splendid with glory
Waking in the dawn of morning

I think that I will never see
A sight as lovely as those tree's
But until the tyrants grip falls
I'll never see a tree at all

He that plants tree's
Loves others beside himself
But he that chops them down
Loves nothing but his wealth

Sometimes you may walk in groves
Which full of majesty will advance the soul

And see the peaceful plants extend
Their myriad leaves in leisured dance
They bear the weight of sky and clouds
For this we must speak for them loud

My best friend in the world
Is the humble green
It's the greatest resource on earth
When used respectfully

What law can deny that gift so sweet

i guess its not a typical song with chorus and bridges and stuff right
do you play guitar or any intstrument? i would like to hear the final product once you've finished it.

Yeah lately when I write I haven't been doing so much the "Pop Format" like verse-chorus-verse.. And yeah I play guitar and piano... But have no recording equipment..which hopefully won't be a problem much longer.

Yeah man I got some rough music for it (guitar and vocals) kinda sounds like a dark/folk song...So I may want to change it...But if I ever get it recorded I'll let ya know..Thanks
