there are a lot of factors to consider here, like, what strain, size of area.
clones or from seed.
without a light mover. and adequate light heighth movement, i would say a 5foot by 5 foot area

hey bigbudone, sorry for diming you out in the other thread its not my buisness anyway. so about you light issue heres a rule ive been using for a while and it worked great: 50watts per suare foot
A 250 watt HID will illuminate a 2' x 2' garden.
A 400 watt HID will illuminate a 3' x 3' garden.
A 600 watt HID will illuminate a 3.5' x 3.5' garden.
A 1000 watt HID will illuminate a 4' x 4' garden.

Also remember though that the effective growing space will be increased drastically if you have the proper reflective coating on the walls - either mylar or ultra white flat paint works great. No aluminum foil!!

Also a light like that will generate huge amount's of heat..
Make sure there's proper ventelation..

well if the person is smart and they are doing this in a small area, then they probably have vented lights. Now, how much light you need depends on how much you can use. If you have CO2 enrichment upto 1200 ppm then you could use something more like 70w/sqft. You'll also need nutes, if any one of the three are suboptimal, then you will have poor results, and you will be wasting money. If they are all equally bad, and you make shitty quality, and you sell if forr dirt cheap, your still making money (not the best way to go)
My advise is to pimp your growroom, then you will capitilise the highend market and be pretty happy.
