Piece of mylar directly under plants...

    Hey,

In a piece of mylar I cut a hole (for stem) and a line and put it in the pot directly under the plant. So, the light from the above reflects from it and plants get light from the bottom too.

What do you think of this practice?

I've noticed that after several hours after putting mylar, bottom leaves start to look a little downwards. They get too stressed of the light or simply think that the source of the light is coming from the bottom?

    Thanks!

BE CAREFUL THAT THE SOIL DOESNT GET MOLDY, FROM LACK OF AIR MOVEMENT.

    Thanks guys,

I've decided to put mylar just for several hours a day mainly because I think it slower an air movement in the medium (Thanks, BOYZNUS).

Noticed that after using this method they become bushier

They make this stuff that is mylar made like a big tarp.
    Strong and durable.
I was thinking about getting one and puting it under my plants.
This should give it enough distanve from the floor.
And the leaves will stay up.
    I think.
