drying?
mostflks dry in the dark if possible.
A fan will speed it up if mold is a concern, but a slower dry over a week or so is widely thought to help improve the taste in the long run.
Depends totally on the household humidity. With real low rh in the home, it might be just 3 days. Rh thats around 60% {thats kinda normal in a house in summer} might need 5 to 7 days drying before its smokable. Keep in mind that freshly dried stuff likely wont have a real great taste right away.

drying?
I use a fan, but the fan is just to pull fresh air in and expel stale air; it doesn't blow on the plants while they're drying. Takes me about a week before they're crackly dry with brittle stems. Always dry in the dark. Also, store your stuff in the dark too. Light degrades THC.
