As a rule, which is the way to go when choosing a strain for SCROG: indica or sativa?

I also need to grow a relatively mild-smelling strain (E.G., Northern Lights and Chrystal from Nirvana were the most I could handle in the smell-intensity department). Any suggestions? Rating: 5
