lighting questions plz help

hey whats up guys i have alot of the stuff i need to start this grow i just need some quick info on lighting

here it goes i bought a cabinet like this http://omximages.officemax.com/image...e/20098911.GIF the dementions are 72"H x 18"D x 36"W i need to know what the best lighting for this space is(im growing white russian ) plz help me

thats a good question. I also thought of getting a cabinate like that, id also like to know. I would guess 400, but its just a guess.

i bought a 600 watt hps system online today, i kow its good for flowering but not sure what else i should use

a 600 hps .. is very good.. but just keep in mind ur gonna need alot of ventilation in that cab to keep it cool cuz a 600 is gonna run hot...you can buy a metal halide conversion bulb for that and then have both spectrums... perfect for both vegging and flowering!

You could use 400 or 600 watts in there as long as your using a cool tube or air cooled reflector, expect to have the fan running throughout.

A 600 watt light...in that cab...you can get double duty out of it by baking bread during the photoperiod.

Save yourself some space by getting a bulb with a built in reflective coating.

yes sir you can do that as long as you buy a conversion bulb... and its the best way to go/grow! just keep in mind you r gonna need mucho ventilation with a 600.. good luck

ok let me describe here i am growing... its gonna b in my room that right now is always very cool from the ac should i take air from the room to cool the hood or use air from outside? any responces are would b great

it depends... are you gonna exhaust into your room or outside... how close are your neighbors.. could they smell it while flowering if you exhaust outside...you can exhaust ito your room and take new air in from the room as well.. that all depends on you..... but either way is fine..
