I don't see how it could cause it but my reasons are purely theoretical. In its natural state, growing outdoors, MJ would have to encounter days where more light is available then others (rain storms, cloudy days etc...) so I don't see why a brief period of off-scheduled darkness could cause them to herm just like that. I am no expert but it seems like you probably didn't do any harm.

Suppose there were four plants, in a closet, with a moderate level of fluoro lighting (increasing with every paycheck) and over a period of about 24hours experienced some funky light patterns due to a mixup with a vacation timer and an apparenct power outtage in the middle of the night. Would it be enough to turn these fictional plants into hermis or will it not be that big of deal. These plants would be 2-3 weeks into flowering and getting steady light from 11pm-11am. The mixup would have Rating: 5
