How do i clean my bong?

I have a roor ice bong and its getting pretty dirty. I have nothing to clean it with and I ordered cleaners but they arent here yet. Would rubbing alcohol work? Anyone have any techniques that wont scratch the bong...let me know:rasta:

Yeah I ordered roor bong cleaner. I heard 420 was good. I just tried rubbing alcohol and it gets rid of some but nowhere near everything. I didnt want to scratch it so I tried qtip and then it comes right off but i cant get most of the stuff with jus a qtip

Also...does this formula 420 require rubbing or wiping or does it just dissolve the stuff right away?

large pipe cleaners work well, in combination with a strong solvent (denatured alcohol)

for all metal and glass parts (NO PLASTIC OR RUBBER!!!)
get some acetone from u're local hardware store along with various or otherwise appropriate size cleaning brushes.

get a aluminum pan or old stainless pan/buckest or whatever, soak parts, scrub (stuff will just fall off) then just wash it out with water and dish soap... sounds scarry... really easy

u can do the same thing with red devil lye right in your sink (be carefull that shit will burn yyour eyes and skin) and the stuff goes right down the drain (flush with lots of water) and it will help clear your drain.

no, they make pipe cleaners specially designed for glass that have a plastic coating around the metal spine and the fibers are non-scratch. Most headshops have 'em and can also be found on the net.
