for all metal and glass parts (NO PLASTIC OR RUBBER!!!)
get some acetone from u're local hardware store along with various or otherwise appropriate size cleaning brushes.

get a aluminum pan or old stainless pan/buckest or whatever, soak parts, scrub (stuff will just fall off) then just wash it out with water and dish soap... sounds scarry... really easy

u can do the same thing with red devil lye right in your sink (be carefull that shit will burn yyour eyes and skin) and the stuff goes right down the drain (flush with lots of water) and it will help clear your drain.
