We had a member in here take their garbage to the feedback forum again. This is the last time for this. FOR NOW ON...if this happens somebody will be out.

Like I've stated over and over again....there are basic rules in here with alot more tolorance than the other forums: No racism, slander (DEA, LEO, etc), gay bashing, sales, or hook-ups.

Another thing, when a mod is in this room posting on a political matter they are members and have the same posting privs and right to post opinions as anyone else. If you care to get into a flame war with one, EXPECT that you may get some in return.

If anyone has a problem anything from the above, I would suggest staying out of the politics forum. Things get a bit rough in here and if you can't take it, go to the lounge where it's mellow.

People SHOULD be able to have a reasonable debate in here without the flaming but it's the nature of the political beast. If the "personal attack" rule was enforced in this forum it would turn into a wasteland.

After last night my tolorance for the bullshit of dragging lil' beefs into the other forums is at an all time low. NEXT TIME it won't last past the first post.

WE should be able to have reasonable debate in here less some of the b.s. There are two people that are on vacation for a few because of how this has progressed as of late.

THIS subject has been discussed by the mods and management and I've busted my ass trying to keep this a free zone but the b.s. isn't doing the cause any good and is really a bitch slap to me as far as I'm concerned. I've saved the "free speach" in this forum a couple of times.......give me a bit of help people!!!!

In the heat of political debates there will be a bit of shit thrown and things do get hot. This does NOT mean that you can chase around people from thread to thread telling them to fuck off; or just post in a thread to tell someone they are an asshole because of their beliefs without even having the decency of posting their own beliefs while they're insulting the other party.

USAGE of racial terms which DOES include the "C" word has been covered time and time again. LIKEWISE threats to do bodily harm is out too. No need to prove dick sizes from the other side of a monitor.

Hear, hear. This morning's little "escalation" went far beyond the bounds of decency and crossed into threats of violence and sexist, insulting invective. It was traumatic not only for the two parties who were at cross-purposes but also for anyone who read those posts, which we're still in the process of cleaning up. It was certainly also not the highlight of my day as a mod. And I'm cringing to think of what anyone who might have been visiting our site for the first time must have thought.

Folks, I've said it before and will say it again. Politics can incite people to greater levels of ire, but that's all the more reason to work extra hard at keeping civil. If that's not possible, it may be time to post someplace else where you can.

I changed my avatar at the right time........things will be changing with the "Family Business" in here starting today! This mornings lil' fest was WAY out of line and will NOT be tolorated ever again.

DEBATE the issues, let the heat fly........but keep it in line or ruin this forum for good! How could it be ruined? First off there would be NO personal attacks allowed. NEXT, would be signature violations from Prisonplanet sites, etc....which falls under the sig guideline. I've left that alone because it's part of one of the members personality for lack of better words and he also primarily posts in politics so I figured no foul.

Excellent! Too many people on these forums take things from discussion to attacks and I am all for you moderators.....we need you guys. I'm also very glad to see some strong guidelines here and do think we need them. The chasing people around thing....completely juvenile. And the name calling is just plain cruel AND ignorant. I don't feel this forum is here for everyone to scream about making sure their "rights" are respected while at the same time not having the class to respect anyone else's rights as well.
