I probably first notice the external factors, like good looks, good body, good grooming, intelligent, kind eyes. That's just surface stuff, but since these are the first things people see, they're what I notice. Poor hygiene and bad breath are big turnoffs, which may sound superficial, but it's true for me.

After the first visual impression comes conversation and interaction, which is where I'd consciously look for the make-or-break factors. I look for intelligence and humor, which matter far more to me than the surface stuff. If the guy's humorless or is a fool, that'll become quickly apparent after talking to him.

The best thing in the world is to find someone who has the mix of both a pretty exterior and a funny, compelling, deep interior. When I found one like that, I married him!

Say u get stranded on the freeway, run out of gas. A guy stops to help u, offers you a ride to go get some gas, he is dressed in construction work clothes and a hard hat (obviously just got out of work), you accept. You are around the same age. Does your acceptance most likely indicate you find him attractive, since you opted not to use his cell phone to call AAA and rather go with him to the gas station?
