Does your acceptance most likely indicate you find him attractive, since you opted not to use his cell phone to call AAA and rather go with him to the gas station?
You're clearly wanting to find someone who'll say, yes, absolutely, he's made this kind offer of either a ride to the gas station or the use of his phone, is attractive and so, yes, I'll go for it and take this ride and see if it leads to a different kind of "ride" later on. But that's looking at it from the perspective of a guy who sees the motivations of women through the she-wants-me filter.

Accepting a ride to indicate interest isn't generally the way a woman in a stranded-car situation would react. Not one who reads the news, at least. Unless you happened upon a realy naive, clueless female, nost of the girls I know would only accept the ride if they really had no other safer option available. And they'd be on guard during the ride to the gas station wondering if you were an attractive and friendly serial killer or rapist like Ted Bundy

It happened to him, not me, and i told him kinda what Mory said, which is why i wanted more of her input. I'm married, so i dont have to worry about that kind of stuff anymore, but he tends to think that all girls want him, and im not gay or anything, but he is pretty, a pretty ugly muthafucker!

I would not have wanted my daughter to take a ride from a stranger like she did, but sometimes you gotta do what u gotta do.

I see. Thanks for explaining the history of the story.

Yep, you can ask any woman who's put up with advances from guys in her lifetime. Inevitably the guys who have the she-wants-me attitude the worst are the ugliest and most insecure losers trying to go for the attractive women who are the most out of their reach. Which is why they have to tell themselves "she wants me" so much to help boost their unfortunate self-esteem. Because chances are they've been rejected. A LOT.

Attractive men with normal confidence levels don't have to lie to themselves to feel better. They tend to recognize that if she wants them, she'll eventually let them know. But they know how to play it cool at first and are experienced enough to recognize that if she initially wants them, she'll probably start acting right away like she's not interested at all and playing hard to get.

Youre wrong man. You dont ask open ended embarassing questions. Any real ladies man knows you can be polite but persistent at the same time. You dont have to act like a dick, ladies dont like that kind of shit.

You've got that right. You do sometimes have to do what you've gotta do, even when it's risky. When I was eight and a half months pregnant with my son, I had a tire blow out on LBJ freeway, a huge Dallas 6-lane freeway, one night after dark on my way home. That was 20 years ago, long before cell phones were routine. I was too pregnant to change the tire myself, and traffic was still so heavy that to even attempt it would have been dangerous anyway. I looked for a police car but none of them passed. Fairly quickly, a guy in a truck pulled over and offered to give me a ride to a service station, where I called my husband and waited for him to come get me. My husband didn't like that I'd accepted a ride from a stranger, but there really wasn't any other alternative in that situation. Luckily, the guy who stopped wasn't a criminal. He was just a very nice sort of fatherly type.
