My uncles a cop. Hes cool tho, he doesnt think cannabis just be illegal either. He thinks that its just a waste of taxpayers money to send them to jail because he knows as soon as they come out there gonna do it again, and then a small problem like 10 dollars worth of weed can end up costing the taxpayers like 10,000 bux in legal issues.

Cops are just people. They live their life, they marry, they have kids, they work a job they hate. They're people. They deal with the scum of the earth day in and day out. It's not their fault they think everyone is a criminal, most of us are.

A cop is sitting in his apartment building one night. It's not nice, but decent enough. All of a sudden, he hears three gunshots. He runs out, sees an open apartment door with a man whose head had been split open by a hollowpoint. He hears footsteps down the stairwell. He grabs his gun, his badge, and bolts. Having been trained in these situations, he knows not to scream STOP, POLICE. He runs as fast as he can, and meets his shooter at about 30 yards away. This is when he shouts POLICE. Sadly, it is also when the killer's getaway car arrives. He pops one shot in the grass to alert both of his immediate presence, and frame of mind. Of course, the murderer, having nothing to lose, shoots back. This gives the officer full authority to take him down, which he does. However, he does not kill the murderer.

Jump to six months later. The murderer is not sitting in jail. but the police officer is, with everyone saying that he killed the man in the apartment and then intended on framing the true killer. The media eats it up, and every politician steps to put the officer behind bars to further their career. The police officer gets life in prison, because everyone hates cops.

It's obvious why everyone hates cops. It's because they do their job. I mean, would you rather have a cop that busts every single person doing something illegal, or a cop letting everyone free.
