I think I fucked up...

Well,
I have had my new babies (they peeked out of the rockwool on the 5th) under light for like 22/2 and out of five three are 2" tall one of those is 2 and a half inches tall already and I think this is too tall...yes? Well I put the fan to them yesterday to give them strength , right? I have cut the light back today I will give them like 12 hrs. darkness...
Feedback anyone ...what do I do ? Is it O.K. that they are so tall so soon?

I found the answer on another sitThe reason the seedlings are growing tall and skinny rather than shorter with sturdy stems is that they are not getting enough light. When they are light starved they start growing tall in an effort to get a closer to the canopy and unobstructed light.

Even though the light has a clear path to the plants, they are not getting enough because the light is not intense enough. The solution is to give the plants more light. For every square foot of growing space, the plants should have between 40-65 watts input of high-pressure sodium light. If that is inconvenient, use metal halides. It is difficult to produce good buds using incandescent or fluorescent lights.e for those who are intertested:

put your plants closer to the light, if you are using floro`s, they can be almost touching it. floro`s are god for seedlings and clones and mother plants
