You can Say you'll be smoking till you die, but you don't know how you'll feel once a time has gone by. Life is a spiraling staircase, everyone keeps going up, but when you look around, it's always from a different perspective. Or something like that.
But unless something dramatic happens that makes me stop forever, i'll always have a place in my heart for mary jane. My dream of a little cabin and a garden now includes a marijuana cultivation.
It's too beautiful just to be a phase...

Yo man, all my friends but two just bitched out on me and gave up weed. What the fuck? I do feel guilty about spending the money my parents give me on something they don't want me doing, but when I get a job next year that guilt will be gone and I will see nothing wrong with toking it.

I'm scared that when I get older I'll get all mature and realize smoking pot is wrong. But I don't see that happening.

Well this has been bothering me lately so bear with me if it gets too lengthy...

I've had a lot of friends bail out on me and the herb. You know, they finally gave in to government propoganda and their parents and non-smoking friends who continue to label us as "druggies" going nowhere in life and so on and so forth. It pisses me off, if you're going to make a decision on something, let it be YOURS. Well, hell, I plan on staying true to the herb and my reasons for smoking it until I'm 6 ft under. Anyone with me?

I'm 19, and everyone around me seems to think it's just a "phase" that I'll "grow out of." As if smoking weed is something only teens and young kids do. That's why I like toking up with adults. My old dealer was 37 and used to toke up with me all the time when he came by to drop off a sack. Guy was fucking cool as shit. Sometimes it's fun to smoke with someone more mature like that, plus they have a lot of cool stories from when they were younger.

Anyways, my point is, it's not a fucking phase. It's a way of life for me and many, many other free living people. They just don't understand this.

Smoking has always been enjoyable for me. I know that what has grown in my soil isn't going to contribute to my death, so why not burn some of God's herb for him?

As for smoking with the older stoners, I agree. They always have a different story

i hear ya bro. in reality it's only a phase for them; a non-acceptance phase if u will. i have a lot of friends who, when i started smoking, used to rag on me all the time for it. and of course included in those rants was all the typical intolerant bullshit like 'someday u'll grow up' or 'it's gonna kill u', etc. now, many years later i'm still friends with most of them, more than half are now fellow stoners, and all the bitching is gone. the ones that chose not to get involved themselves have come to accept and respect the fact that i like smokin reefer and have no plans on quitting. and now that we're all older and wiser, none of them have a problem with that.

stick to ur guns dude. as u get older and become successful despite the fact u smoke weed, the 'everyone' u speak of will grow out of their phase. and in doing so u will have done all of us a favor.
