I agree that it can be normal ... and actually helps sometimes ..... a guy can explore/satisfy his fantasies without technically straying outside the relationship.

Sarah, it's also normal for a woman to be upset/concerned. Most women don't get off on porn and don't understand why their guys are doing it. Women interpret it as "he wants somebody else" ....which may not be the case.

The communication level wrt sex, early in relationships, is usually low, and sexual fantasy, even in good relationships, is very complex. This is something that tends to work itself out in mature relationships, if the couple makes it that long.
