And Shigger just for reference in the future, you might have said that was a male because of what looks like balls on there. Those are calyx's and they support the stigmas, and envelope what will be a seed forming if it were pollinated.

What? What are you talkin about? You must not understand what I'm saying, why are you asking me why I said it looks like a female? It is a female. And like I said what you see are not ball's! They look like they are but they are calyx's as they grow they will swell. Little tiny calyxs will grow together to eventually form a full bud. Thats what will happen.
