First time grower... Need some help!

I have a closet about 2 feet x 4 feet x 8 ft high. I am looking to to grow for just myself. Can anyone help me out with getting started? Money isn't an issue but I don't want to buy anything online or with a CC so if someone could give me a Home Depot shopping list it would be greatly appreciated. I'm in NJ and if someone local wants to help me out I'll share the wealth when all is said and done. Thanks.

Best start would be to figure out your method of growing, and what equpiment you'll need. Look up a local hydroshop that has most or all on your list and go down wit cash in and out. Do your research, and read the boards in the meantime.

You will not find an appropriate HPS light at either Home Depot or Lowes. Nor the means to make one ala DIY.


You'll also be hard pressed to find a CFL bulb good for veg growth at either of them.

Get yourself a prepaid credit card...same thing as prepaid minutes for a cell phone. You determine how much loot you want to credit to it...it won't have to be in your name...and you can order things online with it. Or just call a grow shop and do your order over the phone.

As well as, for sure you'll be wanting to utilize the internet to learn learn learn.
