MY stoner days are bout over. i FINALLY saw a doctor. read
thats right, but recently id rarther get drunk than smoke marijuana simply because alcohol made me happy and sociable yet marijuana made me depressed, anti social and i found it hard to talk and walk while on marijuana and thats only to name a few.

yes i releise that, but you dont releise my situation, most my freinds are stoners, my dealer goes to the same school as me, i always get people askin to get deals for them so i end up getting stoned with them when i get it. and its just to hard to say no when theres a nicley packed bong waiting for ya. and the feeling of always wanting more never went away. i just had to do something about it.

mabey so, and thats what my doctor said, i might have to take them for the long term, and i should see a therapist but i denied it. i have to go see him everyweek for a cheak up but if my meds are not working properly then i'll know i'll need to see someone else.

How do you know that marijuana caused your condition to worsen? Could it have been time as it went on, unchecked, allowed your depression to really grab hold of you? What about your heavy drinking, could it have been that? Way to instantly demonize marijuana. However, at the same time, I am not also saying that smoking weed didn't make it worse either. Just something to think about.

i dont care what your doctor says, i dont think the herb had anything to do with it, if anything it made it better, things like alcohol or any other drugs you might have done are better suspects...
also, just because it increased during your smoking years doesnt mean it was herb, most people with mental disorders who dont do anything about them only feel them mildy growing up and dont have serious problems untill they are in theyre adult years

Well, I would assume that, like with all drugs, pot would effect different people differently.
But I do agree with Jake about finding alternatives to dealing with your disorder. My best friend was depressed seven years ago and she started taking anti-depressants and she has really changed....as a person. She also has to up the dose about three times a year (depending on the stress level) and she is totally dependant on it.
Maybe it is the right thing for you to take medication but I would seriously consider seeing a psychologist/psychiatrist.

When I think "Dope" I also think "Smack". Something softer would be better IMO. But hey, terms are different depending on where you are.

Those pills you're on are going to be a million times worse for you in the long run. Stop drinking so much alcohol, smoke the blessed herb in moderation, and don't be a dipshit. Both sides of my family have a history of depression, my brother mother and two sisters have been on and off different medications, none of them work. Don't blame it on the weed that's the pussy way out!

I'll have the agree with the comment regarding general practitioner. When I was younger I had extreme social anxiety to the point at which I wouldn't even talk around people I wasn't comfortable around. My mother mentioned this to my doctor and without any hesitation his recommendation was Paxil. I was about 13 at the time.

I no longer take the medication nor does my brother take his. Because of the medication i still ave trouble remmebering many things during that period i my life.
