If your temp always stays around 75-80* is it still helpful to have a fun running? and also will black felt lined around the inside of the cabinet steal light from the plants?

You should still have a fan for air exchange, as well as getting a little motion with the plants..
Black felt lining the inside of the box would definitely absorb any lighjt that would be reflected. usually with the cabinet grows the light spread is much larger than the footprint of the box, so by reflecting it back onto the plants you will get more "usable" light. However if the light is hanging above them, and the light "cone" is sized to the floor, then I think the effect would be minimal... If the humidity is too high it will hold in more moisture. It could possibly raise temperatures as well (wear black jeans/shirt on a hot sunny day and you know what I mean)We CAN stamp out Glaucoma in our lifetime

Fan = air circulation + fresh air + harder for bugs to breed ( i think )+ healthier stems and overall plant structure. So it is always an essesity to have a fan running, even if its a small desk fan or comp fan
