a year or so ago, i was hangin out with this friend of mine. she new i was a stoner, and didnt care that much. my bag of chronic was visible or something, and she pulled it out. out of nowhere she tears the bag open and eats about 70$ worth of chronic. (i had picked it up the day before). i was pissed as hell, naturaly, haha. this was her way of getting me to quit, or something. but all she did was piss me off. so an hour or two goes by and she is blitzed out of her mind. shes on the ground in my room, laughing. she claimed my rat told her the chronic was the shit or something. basically acting severly torched.

we ended up playing Crash Bandicoot 3 in the dark for 3 hours, in the dark. (because the pros play in the dark)

so she leaves, still visible burned up, and goes home. the next day she calls me up and asks how soon i can get more! i was so confused. she had had such a good time high, she wanted to do more. i told her if she gave me some money id pick her up an LP, but only if she SMOKED it with ME this time. haha.
Now she is an avid stoner.

i have a habit of breaking it up into bowl sized peices for my pipe. so they were about... peanut M&M size nugs. she just tore open the baggie, and ate em like skittles. haha.

I don't think it's possible to eat raw marijuana and get high. The THC must be activated through heat.

It's impossible, it's never happened before, it never will happen, and your friend was faking it. I gaurantee you it was a placebo effect. You have to heat marijuana to 180 degrees to activate the cannabinoids.

Indeed man, exactly what ^ he said. You can't EAT marijuana raw and expect to get high. It has to be heated up to release the THC. The only thing that could of happened was the fact that she lied about hating weed and she wanted to do it so she took your bag ate it and then felt like she had to be high so she acted retarded. Many people have done this before at my school.. they bring it to school (who knows why) then eat it in class and then hour later they claim they are "stoned". They are just morons seeking attention. As for you friend, it's impossible, and she just wanted to piss you off and waste your money.

Heh, I tried like mad to get high eating raw pot once, and it did nothing except lower the amount of pot around that I could smoke. That's why people make butter and cookies and brownies and such; if cooking it wasn't necessary, I doubt people'd bother much with that stuff -- they'd just eat the pot.

Wait, I thought marijuana had to be heated in order for the cannabinoids to become psychoactive when eaten to remove the carboxyl group, forming the gas CO2 and the psychoactive neutral cannabinoids because in fresh plant material, cannabinoids are almost entirely inn their acid forms...Meh, I dunno lol.
