How many plants can I fit with 1x400watt Metal Halide light?

The space is 3ft x 2ft.. How many plants can I fit in this space if under one 400Watt MH light? I'm planting for yield and not really care about quality. Oh another question.. How much can I yield under this light? Thanks in advance.

ideally u want 50w per sqare foot so u have plenty of light now u just have to worry about heat...its gonna get hot in there so keep a few fans circulating the air...

u can stick as many plants as u can fit just make sure u have enough space for them

The 'holy grail' is a gram per watt, so if everything were to go perfectly, you'd get 400 grams (whether it's off one mongo plant or three medium ones or ten little ones, whatever). Realistically, hope for half of that, and be happy if you get that much, and if you get more, consider it a blessing and a bonus.
