    Ande,

Can you explain what type of lights you have a little better? The way you have it written is a little confusing (maybe it's just me). Also, you're growing in a pig pen, outdoors?

I dont totally understand you lighting combinations. But I imagine you should get a temp gauge and measure the temp in the PIg shed or whatever it is before you buy lights.

If its cold in winter time a HPS would heat that space up and actully work in your benifit to heat your shed.

If its summer and super hot in a shed, CFLs is the way to go.

I grew in a attic once all winter and the light Heat worked perfect to keep the plants warm and tostie but had to have a heater running when the light wasn't on. And ofsourse in summer time I had to move the OP to the basement. Hope this helps some

Anywhere in the 70's is ideal, but you can get up to 85 and still do all right. you want to try to get some female clones if the temps are extremly high, because when groing from seeds the high temps can promote hermy traits or just all out mail plants. Femails are produced under the most ideal conditions you can creat. Some say that using Super Thrive can help in the development of females as well, I am using it right now for other added benifitts along with the hope that I get more females..
