Yeah, that should work. THC can be absorbed in your throat nose and mouth as well as your lungs and coughing can definately move the smoke around. Sometimes if you cough heavily while smokeing you can even swallow the smoke on accident and burp it up later.

But the most effective way to potentiate a high is to lower your tolerance by taking a break. It seems that alot of people here think that breaking for a week or more is a good idea. In my opinion breaking for more than 4 days is overkill. Your tolerance will drop less rapidly with each day you are down. Tolerance in lab rats has been proven to be completely gone after 7 days. Also understand that tolerance can come back very quickly. If you break for a few months and then smoke constantly for a day your tolerance will be close to where it would be if you had been smoking constantly for a week.
