Howdy sawleaf,
You said:" I am not anti-war, but I do believe diplomacy should come first and Bush's diplomacy is about as shitty as it gets. I believe the US needs to cut funding to Israel in order to better our position in the middle east."
I sorta agree with the use of diplomacy-because I don't want any of our troops dying overseas if we can help it-however,you gotta ask yourself-who is it that we're trying to make diplomatic deals with ? If they are islamofascists-then why bother ? Islamofascist regimes need to go,the leadership and supporters, because I remain convinced, that the people of their countries, want to have peace and freedom-not have to worry about secret police,'holy men' and brutal torture and murder, simply for wanting to live in peace, freedom and prosperity.
If any of those regimes that you think we should bargain with, seek the destruction of Israel, and the death of every Jew and infidel, then they are not legitamate regimes-and they have no place in the world.
Have a good one ...Torog

Oh I agree with you there Torog. We don't need to make deals with radical Islamic groups at all. I am not talking about the PLO or anything. I don't think every jew should be killed, that is ridiculous. But do you really think Israel is an innocent country??? They are nazi-like in their brutal ways. Israel is our ally, but when we sit back and let them plow down palestinian homes and murder people, how does that make us look in the eyes of the middle east? This is one of the main reasons we are hated so much in that region. They know we support Israel and allow it to murder people. They use this as fuel against us. What would you do if you were in their situation??? You have to understand that the US is what created these terrorists in the first place. Our fucked up foreign policies have cause these people so much problems and lead to so much hate. Yet most Americans refuse to look at what lead to the current situation and what could help fix it. I hate what happened on 9/11, but do you think these people just decided one day that they were going to attack us for the fun of it? No they had their reasons for what they did, yet we ignore what lead up to the attack. We do live in a great country, but we are also very fucked up and other countries view us as terrorists as well. I understand why they do. We put our troops into any country that has our interests. Could you imagine if other countries did that to us. How would you feel if foriegn troops were in your Texas town because of their oil interests? How would you feel if they came in, got rid of a shitty politician, and then rioting and violence broke out while they stood by and did nothing but guard the oil??? Most Iraqis are very happy we got rid of Saddam, but they still hate us and want us out of their country. We rushed in there without a plan and now their country is in a lot of cases way worst off than it was with Saddam in power. Crime is rampant, people have to use portable generators for electricity, water is still out in many places, terrorist attacks are on the rise. The problem with americans is that most of us don't see and sadly don't care what the real problems are. Come on Torog, stop waving the american flag with your eyes closed.

very niceley said sawleaf.
thats how i see it, even if i joke about it a lot it has kept me up at night sometimes and given me very bad dreams.
i joke about it to vent my anger at ignorance to the truth and to shift the pain i fel about it onto those who have none.
primitive i know.
religion seems to be a convinient distraction from the truth in all this.
reminds me of a song...
(imo gets starry eyed and reaches for the guitar 'round the campfire)
sings "my god can beat up your god, your god can suck on my rod"
rod- being a religious icon akin to staff or sceptre.

www.georgesoros.com <-- he says everything i want to about Bush. Plus he funds lots of drug reform lobbyists and stuff, and he backs Kerry! Now, I'm not American, but as a citizen of the UK whatever your moron-hick-fundamentalist-hypocrite-commander-in-chief drags the world into has a big effect on my life and country. I hope enough of you will have the sense to vote Kerry to stop the occupation of lands under the pretense of "liberation" when all he really wants to liberate is the oil. Moreover, I think Bush (and his puppet Blair) making decisions on minimal evidence and basically acting on a hunch to send the troops in cheapens the value of the lives of the soldiers who dutifully serve thier country and leader. As the Commander-in-Chief, Bush has a responsibility NOT to mislead his troops into fighting a war that is not justified in any way. I respect the all troops for doing their part, but I would be infuriated if I were sent to risk my life not for my country, but for George W. Bush and friends' personal financial interests. Remember, this is just my opinion, and I certainly don't expect everyone who reads it to agree with it, I'm just putting it out there.
Peace.
Save the world, Vote Kerry.
