He is right tho, you can go by 2 ways. The trichomes or the hairs, the only thing is the hairs die and turn orange and if you touch them to much they will turn orange to so its harder to tell because you dont know if they went amber from touching them/dieing or if its almost ready to dry.The trichomes are more accurate then the hairs.So YES it is better to go by the trichomes.

Now this is my problem, I have a 60x-100x hand held microscope BUT in order for me to see the trichomes clearly I have to have it on a flay surfave and the object under the scope has to be right under the lense.I cant hold it stedy on the plant long enough to veiw them.So what I ended up doing was cutting a few small leaves from all around the plant, but I dont want to do that anymore because im just waisting THC. So I dont know what to do,Like the microscope literly has to be stedy and I cant get it stedy while holding it on the plant itself.
