    Have you got a microscope?

You need to harvest judging by Trichomes as they contain the phycoactive THC and cannabinoids.

When the trichomes start to turn cloudy the THC is reaching maturity.

When about 50% are cloudy you can harvest and get a very good stone from it.

If you dont know what your talking about dont give out advice.

The Pistilles have nothing to do with the maturity of the plant.

If you harvest judging by pistilles you could reduce your potency by so much it'd be a waste of time growing the thing.

If you WANT to get high from the weed your growing, you have to harvst judging on the trichomes, as these contain the THC that gets you high.

He is right tho, you can go by 2 ways. The trichomes or the hairs, the only thing is the hairs die and turn orange and if you touch them to much they will turn orange to so its harder to tell because you dont know if they went amber from touching them/dieing or if its almost ready to dry.The trichomes are more accurate then the hairs. So YES it is better to go by the trichomes.

Now this is my problem, I have a 60x-100x hand held microscope BUT in order for me to see the trichomes clearly I have to have it on a flay surfave and the object under the scope has to be right under the lense.I cant hold it stedy on the plant long enough to veiw them.So what I ended up doing was cutting a few small leaves from all around the plant, but I dont want to do that anymore because im just waisting THC. So I dont know what to do,Like the microscope literly has to be stedy and I cant get it stedy while holding it on the plant itself.

Whenever feels right for you bredrin. The plant will tell ya when she's ready wether you what for the hairs to change or the trichomes.Try some if it's to your taste and high then I an I say harvest away. You can always get technical later.sayin,sayin.

    Looks nice and kind!

    keep up the kind work.

Judging by the hairs is not a 100% sure way of knowing when prime harvest time is.

Go down to your local Radio Shack, actually it's called The Source now, ask for a pocket-microscope, and they'll hook you up with a few choices.

I got the 50-80x zoom scope for only $12. You can get a good close up of the trich heads and know exactly when to harvest.

I harvest when about 25% of the trich heads have turned amber.

There are usually 3 stages in trich production.

Clear heads: Harvest when trich heads are clear and you will lose potency and yeild.

Cloudy heads: When all trich heads have turned cloudy, you can harvest anytime with no loss of potency or yeild.

Amber heads: The THC is at it's peak, and no more potency or yeild will come, and waiting any longer, the THC begins to break down.

    Peace.

2 weeks from when you took those pics. Cut off a tiny leaf for your microscope, you will be trimming them off at harvest anyways.

Yes I already know that Noch. I have a 80x-100x hand held microscope that I got from radio shack. But the problem im haveing is this,I read and herd from other people that cutting small leaves off from around the bud isnt good because there is THC in the leaves and when they dry they drain to the buds or something similar to that.I have already cut a few off to look tho so oh well LOL. Also,I cant keep the handheld microscope stedy long enough to get a good look at the trics. So far 6 people have told me 2-3 more weeks so im gonna go with that.

Thank You all very very much for you reply's!!!!
