True most martial artists will never raise a hand in anger and most of the time I feel the same way and agree that violence solves nothing but at the same time it can be fun, when the odds are stacked against me is when I like it best, why do you think I went from a martial art that translates as "The gentle way" to one known the world over for it's level of injuries and violence?

I have no reason to lie because at the end of the day I don't give a damn what anyone thinks of me, I progressed to ever more violent sports because when I was younger thats what got the adrenaline kicking.
As I matured I realised that I am aggressive and I like the thrill of the fight but that isn't the be all and end all of martial arts , it should only be used for self defence. My opinion of "professional" football is that they are a bunch of overpaid under performing whinging bastards, which is probably why you feel an affinity with them.
