    WOw.. My plant resurrected?!

My plants are about 3 weeks old from clones.. So recently I figured they were invested with spider mites, so I spray it with a mixture of cigarette tobacco and dish detergent mixed with water to kill them. I've been doing this for more than a week, about every 2-4 days. Then just recently I took them out to spray as usual and watered it also. Put it back and went out for the weekend. Two days later, I came back and one of the plant just totally wilted and shrunken to the size of a clone. I thought I lost it for sure. THe leaves were turning dry and losing colour. I decided in my last effort to cut all the dead leaves off and the plant was left with only the smaller tiny leaves that appear to just developed before the plant wilted. So after I watered it today and put under light for a couple of hours the plant revived and is now growing, slowly... What was wrong with it? Any suggestions would be great so I won't make the same mistake next time.

I'm going to venture a guess ... tobacco? You probably gave the poor things cancer.

Seriously? I thought tobacco, spices and soap is a good mixture to kill mites? Or so I remember reading somewhere. Was I mistaken?

Lol, I think united was just kidding. I've read that tobacco will work to kill pests. I tried it myself, but it was my first outdoor grow and my grow failed. The tobacco didn't kill the plants though, I think I used it on them for about a week before I found all of them were males lol.
