is it pretty safe to smoke discreetly out in public in holland? i would imagine that nobody would say much to you, if you go out to some park and sit with your friends and share a spliff. am i right?

Discretely, it is absolutely no big deal. Sitting in a park or at the beach - perfect. Walking through the city on Saturday morning or in the tram (where smoking is prohibited anyways) - not done.

How much would 3.5 grams cost, In US currency at a coffee in the Netherlands? I guess it depends on what strain you buy also.

It definitely depends on the strain - and to be honest, I am not certain how much is in those bags. You pay 12 euro's per bag, which is (I believe) ~ 2gram of really good White WIdow, for example. Which is one of the few strains that I regularly bought - big fan of White Widow, B 52, Orange Bud etc...

also have to bear in mind that most coffe shops sell skuff and bubble hash and they dont grow seperate plants for these items,so i would expect nearly all weed to be shaken well before going on sale.

back in the og days they had a thread where this was disscussed any many respected growers on that site who had been to the dam said the weed wernt as good as expected and not as good as what they themselves grow

i cant speak for american weed but im positive that i can find weed just as good if not better than the netherlands here in canada, and about the smoking in public, thats stupid if you cant smoke in the streets, i do and i live in a country where it is still very illegal.

i have a dutch mate whos friends with my dad!!! he told me in terms of legality its ok to carry small quantitys around however you can smoke to your hearts content in the coffeeshops legaly
