Check for wires that might be caught (as well as anything else). Clean out the fan with some air incase the dust is clogging it up. If it's under warranty, go that route. If not, there's a good possibility that you can buy a replacement chipset fan.. though that's motherboard-dependant.

And i tryed to clean it out but it didnt do anything. Btw it used to do it and i would tap my heatsink fan cause i thought that was it and it would fix it. But no i try the same method and it will fix it for a second and it will go back to buzzing and not rotating properly. I dont know why me tapping my heatsink fan would fix the North bridge fan but what ever.

This should hook you up. Double check that it's the right fan for your mobo but I'm pretty sure it is. Maybe one of Newegg's techs can verify. $4.99 plus $4.99 for 3 day shipping.

Where does the sound seem to be comming from? If it sounds like the fan, and it's old and shitty looking, try a new one. why not. I professional opinion is that you have a gremline. best way to exterminate is a long soak in soapy water

Buzzing noise is your motor windings. It's either on the verge of crapping out or it could be caused by excessive drag because of dust.....like crudemood said. Good Luck!

    Have a good one!

Just to make sure that it's the Northbridge fan itself, I would stick a toothpick in the fan to stop it and see if the noise stops. If the noise does stop then you know that it is that little fan.

If the fan is removable, Radio Shack stocks little fans for this exact situation. They clamp on like an old AMD K6 fan, but they are real small.
