I cant help it if teenagers think its cool to listen to rap cuz girls like it. I know all too much about mass marketing jargon. I dont buy into it. When something is real you can recognize it. Rap wasnt always about iced out grillz and bitchez.
I listen to everything from Nina Simone to Al green to Paul Wall. I respect older music, you shouldnt disrespect mine.
I actually like a few rappers and rap groups. The music has just
been processed and feed to the masses so much in the past 15
years that it is just repeating its self over and over again.

I'll find something that separates its self from the pack that I
like because of its originality like Nappy Roots or Cypress Hill.

I seen Nappy roots at a local bar here before they released
    their first album.

LOL, you diss most music teenagers listen to, then profess your love for Nappy Roots. ~

Hmm, open-mindedness is the key. Maybe at least give a listen before completely writing off an entire generation's musical preference? Eh?

And for the record, I'm not really talking about all that poppy shit on MTV and the radio, but even the underground and the lesser-known bands. Generalizing all teenagers into that pathetic, zombie-driven MTV group was a mistake. Don't ever generalize, lol. And I'm sorry for coming off like a prick, as I'm sure you said it with little intent to offend all teenagers everywhere (Ha- I'm only a teenager for 1 more month, yet still I speak..stoned I am), but still, I at least had to speak my mind. Either ignore it, lol, or take it with a grain of salt. Although I must admit the 60's generation of music is oh so trippy.

    You know, you're right.

What's a dead body as proof, these days, anyway?

The real world is where I live.

    Where are you at?
