florida bound

so im goin to florida in a few days to see my pop's, and i just relized somthing im going during hurricane season and im driving, and i used to live in florida and knoe how powerful a hurricne can be but i dont relly care my self i think it for a good casue.but i was thinking it is a 10 to 11 hour drive so should i just drive straight through or should i make it a 2 day trip?

Depends...if you want to spend as much time as possible there, drive straight through. If you're just trying to make a customary visit, take your time.

Where are you comming from and where in FL are you going? That'll prolly make a big difference right there. And I wouldn't be worried about a hurricane. Nowadays there's plenty of warning when one's comming this way. Plenty of time to get the hell out of the way.

R u doing all the driving yourself?

Its not to bad really... my house to daytona takes me 14 and 1/2 hours... i have done it many times by myself.. start early, stay hydrated

uless u have somewhere to stop... the alternative is to drive for a while and what get a cheep motel room?? after u get out of the car for a while, and eat.. u will end up sitting in some dank (and not the good dank) motel room flippn' through tv channels.

if u don't plan on stoppin' and u get too tired to drive.. stop at a good rest stop.. eat a big fat meal (you know, the kind that makes u want to nap) drink like a quart of water and take a nap. in an hour or so, u will wake up because u need to wizz and after u do, u will feel ready for some more drivin'

after the first couple of hours u just settle in... this time of year, if u leave in the morning, eleven hours u won't even have to drive at night.... piece of cake
