No, ther is sand going round, i know that. But it makes no differnce to the smoke, sand doesnt burn, because it's just rock's, that have been powdered nearly.

People are putting it on for 3 reasons, 1 it dries the bud quicker, not much but it makes a differnce, 2 it makes the bud look better, but out English bud doesnt need to look better, it's already perfect, and 3 it puts more wieght on so it's a good rip off.

My dealer got some from someone he knew to see what it was like, and we both shook most of the sand off and smoke it in 3 joints, it wasnt too bad.

The best way to tell if putyour finger in the bud and then put it in your mouth. if it's gritty in your teeth, you know you've been ripped. Or at least bought sandy bud, although im not sure it's as big of a problem as people are making it out to be.
