    early buddng plants

Hi guys, I'd love to get some advice on some of my plants. I planted a bunch of blueberry x afghani seeds on June 5. Because of my ignorance I used poor soil and they did not grow well until I transplanted them into good potting soil about 2 1/2 weeks ago, then they began to grow but are still pretty small comparitively. My hydro guru sold me some feminiser which I sprayed on everybody about 4 days ago. Today I notice one small sad plant starting to bud (I think......i'm positive it's not just growth--there seem to be pods with hairs growing out of them at the top of the plant) although it's only late july. Is this possible? It's the only one showing anything of the sort and I realize the plants are older than they look. Most of my others planted at the same time are just now starting to put out some preflowers. If it is this early would it be a male or hermie despite the feminiser? (doesn't look like a male to me but hey, I'm a poor soil user so anything is possible). If it really is buddng should I seperate it? It's getting light at about 5:45 am till about 8:30 pm these days so I'm nowhere near 12/12.
    Any advice would be appreciated.

Also what do you folks know about the feminiser (dutch master). My hydro guy seemed very confident that it would work and (so far) he's never steered me wrong. Experiences?

    Thanks for any input

[attachment=o79135]Sorry but this is the best I can do--my camera is as poor as my outdoor grow--these plants took two bad hits, first soil that was too dense and then a nice Calif record heatwave--10 days over 100 degrees (3 days at 111 around my place) despite extra shading and fans etc... Is there anything I can do to help them along at this point?

On a better note, the last two pics are from my first hydro-grow. Age five and 1/2 weeks...thank god for my hydro guru.

    Appreciate any advice.

    early buddng plants

    Hi guys,

Turns out that most of those little plants did not flower well and that one I took the terrible picture of was a male so off it went. I was able to get more information about the feminiser--it doesn't do anything to male plants but sprayed on plants as a foliar spray once at the beginning of bloom and then again 10 days later will stop any hermies from forming--supposed to be extremely effective. On my indoor grow I ended up with 5 nice females and 3 males (now dust) and no hermies--so far two of my outdoor ones that I did not spray hermied on me. I was quite bummed to have two (of the few nice outdoor ones) start with great pistils and then have the male seeds pop out and ruin it. For some reason much more despressing than just finding a straight male. Will update on my newer outdoor plants and see if any more hermies pop up--did use feminiser on these.

i think who ever sold u that "feminiser" scammed u. i dont think there is such a thing that does that. and by the results, its not working for u. ur having completely normal results. and dont expect that every plant goes ehrmie easily because it doesnt. ur plants go hermie if its stressed or bad genetics

Don't really know if it's a scam or not but both plants that did hermie were stressed--they both did start out as females and were from different seeds--one blueberry and one unknown sativa type thing--both exposed to abnormal lighting (I think) and hermied later on the blooming stage. This stuff is apparently supposed to prevent them from going hermie period, no matter what. Can't tell you how it works (or even if it does--suppose the ony way would be if I got hermies from plants that have been sprayed and so far I haven't). The thing that freaks me out so much about growing outdoors is the THOUSANDS of things you can't control. How did folks deal with all those factors in an guerilla type grow?
