I just started to really get into his/their music and I am starting to think The Verve was the best band since The Beatles; Ashcroft is just amazing. Nobody really knows who he is over in the USA, music sucks over here.

Is there other good British bands or solo artists in the vein of The Verve, Coldplay, Oasis, Blur, etcâ?¦ I should look out for, or is British music going in the shitter too?
