this process was established in 1937 to deter mexican migrant farmers in the western states from using MJ. Booze was the first to get a stamp, and the others were were added to the list. Since the Legal bodies that govern the status of legalialty of drugs and such weren't around, this law was passed initially to prosecute. It's a bogus stamp and they are actually not available to purchase. Now there may be a few states that have them. but for years, it was a law, that challanged, due to the fact that it was law and there wasn't a stamp for legal purchase. the supreme court said it was consitutional for the country to have a law that said you had to have one, but there wasn't one available.

Marijuana tax stamp I've noticed that some states have a tax stamp you can buy for marijuana..From what I understand, if you get busted, and you have paid the tax for your pot, there's certain fines that they can't make you pay, correct? Or maybe I understand this incorrectly, but I was hoping maybe someone could give me some insight into why you can pay taxes for something that's illegal to posess.. Rating: 5
